World Book Day 2017
For World Book Day the children were all given a potato and asked to decorate it to represent their favourite book character. Due to the overwhelming response and hard work all year groups will have a winner and two runners up. Here are all the finalists in each year group. The winners will be announced in Friday's Celebration Assembly.
Year 3 and 4 were extremely privileged to get a visit from famous children's author Jack Trelawney. The children were very excited to hear him talk about writing and several of them were given special autographed copies of his books!
On Friday 27th March children across the school took part in Science Day. Our topic was 'Inventors and Investigations'. In the morning the whole school enjoyed a whizz bang show from the Mad Science Company. Luna Lucy taught us about air and showed us some amazing experiments.
