13 of our Year 6 children undertook the national Primary Maths Challenge on Friday. Faced with 25 tough questions, challenging not only their knowledge of different maths skills but also their mathematical reasoning and understanding the children all showed determination and resilience to complete the 45 minute test.
Children were presented with certificates, to acknowledge their results: Carys gained a bronze certificate; Emily, Kiran, Georgia and Moyo achieved silver certificates and our gold winner was Sameen.
Results have been sent to the Mathematical Association. Any child who has gained a particularly high result may be asked to compete in another round in February.
