This week has been a week full of trips for many of our children.
On Tuesday Year 2 explored the science museum in London. Amongst other things, they were very excited to see a model of the Wright brothers' plane, that they had studied in Year 1 as part of their history work looking at historical events.
A selection of Year 6 children went to WE day at Wembley on Wednesday. Here they were treated to a range of performances by inspirational speakers who talked about how they could change the world and charitable works. Meanwhile 3T went to Kidzania where they tried out a range of jobs earning the all important Kidzos.
During Thursday and Friday the other two Year 3 classes went to Kidzania where they enjoyed themselves greatly. Using Kidzos to pay to play, many developed a good understanding of change and balancing the budget.
A big thank you to all our teachers for organising these trips for the children and accompanying them. We must also say a big thank you to all our parent and grandparent helpers, without you we would not be able to run these trips. A special thank you goes to Miss Abigail Greenslade, an ex-pupil, big sister and volunteer, who accompanied us on a trip every day! What a star!
