The first coffee morning of 2019 was lots of fun and the coming weeks look promising too. Take a look at he timetable via the link above but for now I'll let you know that this week we will be looking at how we can help our children solve their problems and not worry about things. See you there!
The next parent gym group will begin on Tuesday 05.02.19 at Hatfield Hall community centre, Hatfield Road. It will start just after 9am so just come along once you've dropped the children at school. A three week course for nursery parents starts this Friday watch out for more information. You can book onto it via Alison Lines, nursery staff or the office.
The Understanding Teens course will be starting on the 8th of March and running for 5 consecutive weeks. This is particularly for parents with children in year 6 and you will need to be book a place in advance. More information will be sent home shortly.
Conversation class (ESOL) for those parents who have English as an additional language but lack confidence starts on Wednesday 23.01.19 for 5 weeks, please let Miss Lines or Mrs Wray know if you would like to come along.

I am here to work directly with parents and carers and I can help you with;
Family Support Getting used to a new school and local area.
Liaising with Teachers Parents training session
School nerves Moving from Primary to secondary School (Transition)
Housing and Welfare Benefits Coping with illness/medical issues
Completing forms Finding friends and neighbours
Getting involved in your child’s school Attending information sessions with parents
Parent gym workshops Understanding the culture/expectations of school
I am here to work with any parent/carer connected to the school who may need :
Advice, support or just a listening ear
I organize a weekly coffee morning with a different theme each week. These are a chance for you to
· meet other parents and carers.
· Share your skills.
· Learn a new skill -cooking, crafts, health and fitness, etc.
· Improve existing skills - literacy, numeracy, supporting your child with their learning.
· Take part in taster sessions - fitness, courses
Please check your child’s bookbag for information about what’s on.
Just come in for a chat.
