Years 2 - 6 use Literacy and Language, a scheme of work published by Oxford University Press, to support the planning and delivering of English. This is underpinned with key principles of Talk for Writing (Pie Corbett). This has been written to match the requirements of the National Curriculum.
From September 2019, Early Years and KS1 (initially Year 1) will be following the programme set out by
Read Write Inc. for the development of phonics, reading and writing.
