For the week of September 7th, the school meal that will be provided will be a cold, packed lunch which the children will probably eat in their classrooms. Children will be able to choose their sandwich/roll filling. Their choice will usually be: cheese, egg, tuna, chicken (non halal) or ham. The will also have a piece of fruit and a cake or biscuit.
After the week of September 7th, the aim is that children from Years 1 - 6 will alternate between a hot lunch, which will be eaten in the dining room or hall, and a cold, packed lunch. for the first half term, children in Reception (who will stay for school lunches from September 28th) will have a cold, packed lunch. They will be able to choose their sandwich/roll filling.
