Wow! What an afternoon we had yesterday celebrating all the talent of Godwin's children. Everyone at Godwin spent Monday afternoon being treated to a mixture of singing, dancing and magic. Each year group selected an act to represent them and the following acts were showcased in our annual talent show:
Reception - Timmy, Ziva & Owane performing 'Uptown Funk' by Bruno Mars
Year 1 - The Ed Sheeran Specials (Finley, Mason, Jack and Billie) performing 'Shape of You'
Year 2 - Vejas performing 'We don't talk anymore' by Charlie Puth
Year 3 - Goodness performing 'Billie Jean' by Michael Jackson
Year 4 - The Bobbing Ballerinas (Alarah, Migle, Zara, Aubriana) performing 'Let it Go'
Year 5 - Zohar performing 'La La La' by Shakira
and from Year 6 Hadley with his magic act.
The audience were wowed by all the acts. Each area of performance was hosted and judged by staff within school.
After an afternoon's entertainment, the stakes were high and the judges had to choose their winners carefully.
For KS1 the runners up were the Ed Sheeran Specials with the winner Vejas from Year 2.
In KS2, Hadley the magician was the runner up, with the popular choice of 'The Bobbing Ballerinas' coming first.
All our winners won an Easter egg to take home and will have the opportunity to perform at the Summer Fayre in July!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
