After 30 years working tirelessly at the school, ensuring for the most part that children who are ill, need medication or hurt themselves at school were looked after, we sadly said 'Goodbye' to Mrs May on Friday.
Mrs May retired! As part of her retirement, children presented her with a large book that they had all contributed to, to say Thank you to her. Past pupils that she had cared for came back to the school, including the first child that Mre May had been employed to support 30 years ago.
Mrs Wray used her poetry skills to write a 'Goodbye' poem - please go to Children>school pages to read it.
We all wish Mrs May a happy retirement, and many fun years in her new home! We look forward to seeing her visit us at Harvest, Christmas and other school celebrations.
