Once again everyone at Godwin is extremely pleased with the results that have been achieved this year by children across the school! Across the school we have children achieving results that are higher than national averages (based on national averages in 2014) and reflect the hard work by the children, parents and staff at Godwin! Well done to everyone!
Please note these results are unvalidated and based on intial analysis. Data will be validated in February 2016.
EYFS
In Early Years 73% of children achieved a 'Good Level of Development' with Early Learning Goals being achieved in 12 key areas. This is higher than last year and 12% higher than the national average for last year.
Year 1 phonics
85% of children passed the phonics test in Year 1 this year - exactly the same % as last year and 11% higher than the national average for last year.

All results were above national averages at L2B+, at level 3 reading and maths we were above national averages, with writing being in line.
KS2

With the exception of reading at L5 (where we are 2% below national average - 1 child) all results are above national averages! We were particularly impressed with the 11 children who achieved Level 6 in maths and 4 who achieved Level 6 in SPAG.
Progress figures show very good progress across KS2.
Well done again these are a great set of results!
And whilst academic results are important to us, I would also like to acknowledge some of the children's results in other areas of the curriculum.
We currently have a Year 6 child playing the role of 'Bruce' in the West End production of Matilda; another Year 6 child is competing internationally in acro dance; another Year 6 child performed as part of Primary Steps at the Broadway theatre last Monday; |
