Equality Objectives

Whilst continually striving to achieve equality for all, we aim to:

a) increase understanding of equality through direct teaching in the curriculum, ensuring all protected characteristics are represented;

b) make sure the school site is accessible as possible to all pupils, staff and visitors;

c) ensure all children have equal access and opportunity for extra-curricular activities;

d) endeavour to narrow the attainment gap between significant groups of pupils;

e) reduce the vocabulary gap for all pupils to remove a key barrier for them accessing further education in the future.
