parent volunteering or working at Godwin
Things are a little different at the moment due to Covid guidance being followed within school but usually parents can get involved in school by volunteering to go on school trips with their child's class. We have also had parents who have volunteered within school to hear children read or to support in other ways and also have those who volunteer to help with FrOGS events. To volunteer or work in school you will need to have a DBS (disclosure and barring service) form completed. There is no cost for this and further information can be obtained from the office.
Many parents start work in school as midday assistants. When vacancies arise we usually notify everyone in the school newsletter but it is always worth asking if there is any space at the moment and filling in an application form. Further information can be obtained via the school office.
