NARP (NURSERY Assessment Resource Provision)

NARP’s Class Page

 

Godwin NARP is made up of four staff members including:
Miss Mattu – NARP lead
Miss Kimani – Teaching assistant
Mrs Bibi – Teaching assistant
Miss Perrin – Teaching assistant
The adult to child ratio in the NARP is 1:2.
The NARP offers a total of 16 children’s spaces.
 

Godwin NARP is open Monday to Thursday and offers 2 session times:

AM – 8.30am – 11.30am (8 children)

PM – 12.25pm – 3.25pm (8 children)

 

Key Dates for this Half Term 

Here are some of the key dates for this half-term (subject to change):

Week commencing 19/1/2026 – Fatma Hassan (Education, Health and Care (EHC) Assessments Co-ordinator) will be giving all parents a time slot via email with a telephone call to follow regarding part B meetings (EHCP draft reviews and placement preferences for your child in September).
Friday 23rd January 2026: 10.30am – 11.30am - Phoenix project workshop in school run by Rehana. If childcare is needed for your child, please speak to your class's lead professional.
Thursday 12th February 2026 – NARP's last day for the February half-term break (normal session times apply).
All children return on Monday 23rd February 2026

 

Ways to Support your Child’s Learning at Home

There are 6 documents that you can download below to support your child at home:

  • A bucket time training guide to help you build joint attention with your child.
  • Bucket time activity ideas for all stages (1-4).
  • Shared curiosity guide to develop your child’s shared attention, communication, and social interaction skills using visually and highly motivating activities.
  • An example of a communication core board that is used in every session of the NARP issued by the speech and language team.
  • A 'being adventurous food pack' – issued by the speech and language therapy service team for children who have difficulties with eating.
  • A timeline of the EHCP (Education and Health Care Plan) process and expectations.
