This intervention is used to teach children new skills, you may have to start with 'Hand over hand' to teach the child unfamiliar activities, once the child masters the activities set out you can move the activities over to the Communication Table, where you then add language, turn taking, choice making and sharing. The aim is NOT to talk to the children at the workstation - this enables the children to concentrate solely on the activity
