Year 1 have been reading Robin's Winter Song by Susanne Barton in English. This story is all about a little robin who is afraid of winter. She asks all of her friends to help her find out who winter is. Along the way she discovers all of the changes that happen from Autumn to Winter. We have been exploring winter using our senses of sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste.
Next we will be writing letters letting little robin know about winter. Look at all the hard work we have been doing discovering the features of a letter.
Each Friday we have ben having Drama sessions with Miss Cummings. We have been focusing on learning new emotions and extending our vocabulary. Have a look at some of the amazing emotions we have been able to express!
