The Friends of Godwin School is a registered charity (number 1179216) with the purpose of raising additional funds to support the children of Godwin Primary school through a variety of annual events. We are more commonly known as the FrOGS. All pupils, staff and parents/carers with children at the school are automatically members of the FrOGS. You can also become a member if you are a past pupil, parent of a past pupil, or are part of the local community and would like to be supportive of the school. Each year a committee is elected to oversee the running of events on behalf of the FrOGS. Events include the summer fayre and the Christmas bazaar which each raise in excess of £1000 per year.

Watch out for future events and competitions. We will be having our usual creative competition around Easter and of course the summer fayre will be here before we know it on Saturday 06.07.19.
In the mean time the AGM will be held on Wednesday March the 6th straight after school. More information is available above just click on AGM flier and nomination form. The Christmas Bazaar which was held on Friday 7.12.18 straight after school was such a great success that some of the stalls sold out by 4pm. Sorry to those of you who were looking forward to those games and stalls we will try to make sure they last longer next year. The bazaar and the raffle combined to raise £1250 so thank you very much to everyone who donated items; helped get organised and run stalls on the day; or came along and spent lots of money. These funds will be added to others and will go towards things that will benefit the children of Godwin Primary School but that can not be covered by the school budget.
Summer Fayre 2018 - We had an amazing day and hope you did too. We are sorry that we haven't had time to update this part of our website but hope to be able to share some more information with you very soon. However, with the Christmas Bazaar tomorrow it will have to wait a little while. Let us just take a moment to thank you all for your participation and support with a great event.

We had a very successful AGM and voted in the new committee which due to constitutional regulations linked to the number of people in attendance was limited to 11. New committee members are detailed below with individual photographs. The minutes will be posted here in the next few days. The prize draw for attending was won by Miss Alison lines.
