The 5M and 5S class teachers are Mr Moran and Miss Shepherd. Supporting the children across the year are Miss Small, Miss Brand, Mrs Ryan, Mrs Herd, Miss Abokor, Mrs Mumtaz and Mr Sarumi.

Key Dates for this Half Term

Here are some of the key dates for this half term (subject to change):

  • 13th November – trip to the cinema to see If

  • 20th November – trip to the London Mithraeum

  • 10th December – trip to St Albans church to see the Year 4 Nativity

PE times

PE days and times are below:

  • 5M indoor PE - Monday 

  • 5S indoor PE - Monday 

  • 5M and 5S Swimming - Friday

Please make sure your child has the appropriate PE kit, long hair is tied up and earrings are removed on these days. PE kit will be sent home at the end of each half term for washing. 

The Mile days are below:

  • 5M Monday and Wednesday

  • 5S Tuesday and Thursday

Ways to Support your Child’s Learning at Home

There are several documents that you can download below to support your child with their reading, writing and maths at home:

  • Try the Reading Questions Bookmark for ideas to ask before, during and after reading.

  • Download the Year 3 & 4 as well as Year 5 & 6 spelling lists and help your child to read and spell as many as they can over the year.

  • Use the Top 10 Maths Tips document for simple, practical ideas to build maths skills.
