Godwin Primary School is an inclusive school. Activities and trips are available to all children. We will endeavour to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that your child is able to participate in all school activities if it is safe for them to do so. Support to enable this to happen could include (if needed):

• Full risk assessments being carried out prior to the activity taking place
• 1:1 support for children with complex needs (where considered necessary after risk assessment has been carried out)
• Staff training to ensure they are fully aware of all needs
• Suitable transport
• Additional staff to accompany classes where necessary
• Staff to be available to oversee / support during after school clubs
• Adults who are  trained to administer any necessary medication / carry out medical procedures (e.g. epipens, feeding tubes, insulin) to accompany trips and be on site for after school clubs
