After reading the first part of Lightning Girl where Aurora discovers light beams radiate from her hands, we wrote diary entries about us discovering our own superpowers. We thought really carefully about the emotions we might have when and how this might impact the reader. Have a look below at what we wrote.
We wrote narratives retelling Aurora's first training lesson and shared them with Year 3. Ask your child to retell the story - they may even be able to use some actions.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
