For spelling today we would like you to pick up to 10 challenging spellings from the list you have been working on (the ones we sent home last time we tested them) and ask an adult to test you on them. Mark them and work out which part of the word you got wrong. Then spend some time learning those spellings. Think of different ways you could remember it. Is there are pattern? Look at last week's spelling if you want some ideas. Make it fun! When you think you know them ask an adult to test you again. you could even leave it a few days to see if you have really remembered them!
If you want more help with spelling Sir Link-a-lot has been posting YouTube videos for creative ways to remember spellings. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4lR2hfjjv_9oQMpmSFWiNw/videos (Always ask an adult before using the internet)
Before we start writing, we need to warm up those hands!. Have a go at some fingers exercises and don't forgot the wrists. There is a document below with some pictures or ask an adult to help you find a hand warm up video on YouTube.
Once your hands are thoroughly warmed up we need to think about how we can get our neatest handwriting. Are you sitting on a chair at a table properly. Is your pencil sharp?
It may have been some time since you have done some handwriting so we would like you to practice writing out the alphabet forming all of the letters carefully. You could also write the capital letters too. When you have finished, pick out 3 letters you think you could improve and practice those.
After, we would like you to copy out this poem; taking your time to form letters and join correctly. Don't rush! Take a picture and we'd love to see them on the blog :)

Before you start, make sure you have plenty of room and it is safe. Have a drink near your to keep yourself hydrated. There are many benefits to exercise and it is a great way to improve your mood.
You need to start by thinking about a 5 minute warm up to get your heart rate up and warm the muscles up. Then you will need to think of 10 exercises to create your routine.
