Kite Flying!

Today we designed and made kites. We were then able to fly them because it was a windy day. We had so much fun!

Bubbles!

This week we have been exploring bubbles based on our story of the week 'The Scrubbing Machine'.

Cooking!

We are learning all about mini beasts. We looked at the ingredients and then followed a recipe to make butterfly cakes. Once they were out of the oven the children cut the top of the cake off and then cut that piece in half to make the butterfly wings. They then decided whether they would like jam and whipped cream to put on top of their cake. To finish they pushed the butterfly wings into the topping.
