Non-Trewern Blog
Not everyone is fortunate enough to make the trip to Trewern. But there is still a great deal to look at and learn about at home as the remaining Y6s set about studying the local area and what it has to offer.
We began with a nature walk in Parsloes Park and Goresbrook Park. It is amazing how much natural action can be found right here on our own doorstep...
Another fun activity was a trip to the Kenneth More Theatre in Ilford. It was really interesting to see how an actual theatre operates as we got to see the green room, go on stage, visit the dressing rooms and view many of the technical backstage areas. A big thank you to Daryll and Miss Spooner for showing us round. Hopefully, it will really help when we do our own production in a couple of weeks...
On Tuesday, we prepared, cooked and - most importantly - ate our own lunch. Thank you to Mrs Hunt for helping us prepare such a yummy feast.
We closed the week with a trip to Valence House so that we could see at first hand about the history of Barking & Dagenham.
