Maths
Today we will be continuing with learning about mass and learning how to add and subtract mass. Watch the video to find out how to do this and then have a go at the worksheet.
English
People often review books or films to tell other people about the book and what their thoughts are on it. This might help other people decide whether to read the book or watch the film. Not everyone will agree on whether they liked it or not.
We would like you to write a review for a book you have read or film you have watched recently. Write in full sentences and in as much detail as possible. A detailed review might persuade someone!
There is a template below.
Handwriting
Continuing with looking at size and consistency from yesterday, today we will be looking at capital letters. Start by writing out the alphabet in capital letters, focusing on forming each letter accurately. Then identify 3 that you think you need to improve on and practice those at least 5 times. On the worksheet, write out the days of the week and the months of the year in capitals.
Art
We would like you to have a go at the Japanese art of paper folding. Below are some instructions about how to make a variety of different shapes. Some may be quite tricky but show remember to show determination and keep going!
You may also want to look at video tutorials on YouTube to help you see how to do it. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJME_um5k3Xr47bt4UGRGBg
You could also decorate the paper.
Have fun!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
