We were offered a free interactive workshop today by the 'Mad Science Group'. We had 'Quasar Chris' (the mad scientist ) in to do some experiments for the whole school. It raised awareness on the detrimental effects on our sewers when wet wipes, nappies, and other non-flushable products are flushed down toilets and oily fats being poured down sinks. It also highlighted how we can help prevent the blockage of underground sewers and help promote a safer and cleaner way of disposing items as this is a local problem.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
