Happy Birthday Muneeb!
Have a fantastic day!
Best wishes,
from
Miss McDonagh 😊
We hope you are all keeping well and enjoyed doing the activities we planned for you last week. We are looking forward to seeing what you have done when the school opens once more.
Here are the activities for this week. As you can see it has been changed again and we hope the new format will be easier for you to follow when planning your child's learning. The stars have know been put into categories, for example, "Daily Activities" are things which can be done every day, "Maths Activities" are all the things you can do with your child around this week's focus, subtraction, etc.
We have also added a section called 'Essential School Closure Learning Resources'. This is where we will add general resources that will help you to support your child at home.
Please do not worry if you cannot complete all, or most, of the activities we have included in the planning. If you are only able to do some of them, then we would suggest you look at the “Daily Activities” star and do the “Reading/phonics” and “Handwriting” sections and choose a physical activity to do from the selection written down (or you can make up your own). Also look at the “Maths” and “Reading” stars and decide on the activity/ activities you can do. In the “Topic” star, if you can, do the “Story” and “Writing” sections, then that would be great. Do as many of the other activities in the “Topic” section as you can, but do not feel you have to do them all or any of them if the above sections mentioned are enough. Choose the ones you think will be the most fun for you all. Anything you do with your child will be valuable and beneficial, so please do not put any undue pressure on yourself or your child/ children.
If you want to share any photographs of things your child has done during the school closure, then please e-mail them to the school and we will make sure that all the Reception staff get to see them and we try to add them to our individual class web pages, so everyone can see the faces of their friends.
If the children want to see us, then please listen to the stories we have videoed for the children to listen to. The information is on the bottom right-hand side of the School Home Page.
We want you to know we are all thinking of you and sending our best wishes. We hope you are finding the plans helpful and the children are enjoying their learning.
Take care and keep safe,
Mrs Bailey, Miss McDonagh, Miss Merwanji, Miss Cummins & Mrs Lapping
