What does a PSA (Parent Support Advisor) do?
A PSA works directly with parents and carers connected to the school who may need advice, support or just a listening ear. The areas of support can include but are not limited to; family support; helping you get used to a new school and the local area; housing and welfare issues; helping you to support your child; accessing local services and support; liaising with teachers; training and skills sessions; completing forms; moving from primary to secondary school; keeping you and your family safe and much more.
Miss Lines is available from 8.30am – 4.00pm, Monday – Friday during term time. In some situations she is also able to visit you at home or at other locations. Please get in touch to see if she can help you, if she can't she will be able to signpost you to someone who can.
