Today we are going to answer some questions based on all the learning you have done on money this week. Start with the flashback 4 and then answer the question on the worksheet. When you have finished, mark your work. If there are any you got incorrect look back on the lessons from the week or ask an adult to go through it with you. You could ask an adult to give your some more money problems or have a go if you go out shopping.
Today is writing day! Use your plan from yesterday to write your story. Have a look over all the work you have done for this unit and read through page 28 before starting. Remember to post on the blog. We can't wait to read all of your stories!
The sheet below has sentences where there is a spelling mistake circled. Write the correct spelling in the box and when you have finished check you answers. If you get any wrong, practice writing them out 3 times. See if there any any ways to help you remember them.
Today we are practicing 3 joins - 'nn', 'mm' and 'ss'. Make sure your hands are warmed up and you are ready for writing. Then spend some time practicing the joins, making sure you are also forming the letters accurately. When you feel confident with your joins, match the two groups of words up. To finish, use these words in sentences. Take your time to get your best handwriting!
The Human Body
Today we are learning all about bones. The first thing we would like you to do is read the powerpoint all about different types of skeletons then have a go at sorting the types of skeleton.
Then we will focus on the human body and learn the names of the bones that make up the skeleton. There are actually 206 bones in the body but don't worry we won't be learning all of them!
We would like you to draw or print out the skeleton and label the different bones. How many can you remember. Can you find them on your body?
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
