Year 1 Remote Learning
Welcome to Year 1's remote learning page! Well done to all of you that have completed work on Purple Mash and our blog over the past few months. During this summer half term, we will deliver remote learning differently.
We will be uploading the learning that will be taking place in school each day to this web page. If your child is at home, they can attempt the same activities. Any work that your child completes can be uploaded to our Purple Mash blog. Click here for details on how you can access the Purple Mash blog.
The teachers will try to upload the learning by 9:00 on each school day. Click on a link below:
In addition to the activities uploaded in the daily links, the children and adults will be attempting the Joe Wicks PE lesson each morning. You and your child can try it each day by clicking https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyCLoPd4VxBvm2BWtQ6AmTsrwjRtx7iIz
We will also be watching Newsround each day so that the children are aware of what is going on in the world. The link is here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround
As reading is such a focus, the children will hear stories read by us each day as well as some read from other teachers around the school and by famous TV personalities via CBBC Bedtime Stories. The links are below:

Regardless of whether your child is learning at home or at school over this summer half term, we would like them to log into Purple Mash to read each day. We will upload a reading and comprehension task for your child to complete on each school day.
Please support your child to read using these Purple Mash texts as well as physical books that you have at home. It is important that your child continues to read at least 5 times per week. Sadly, we will not be able to send physical books home.

Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
