Today we will think about other people who are brave (this may link with the heroes work we did a few weeks ago and with our current situation).
We will first talk about different cartoon characters we know who are brave. Why do we think they are brave? Are they always brave? What do they do when they are worried or scared?
We will then talk about different people we know who are brave.
Today we will create a 'box of courage' - a decorated box full of quotes that help us to be brave and meet our challenge.
The courage quotes can be printed off and coloured or children could choose the quotes they like and write them in their neatest handwriting to put in their box of courage. Decorate a jar or box (recycling rubbish) and then put in their courage quotes.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
