Today you will be using the skills you have of the different operations to solve problems involving money. You may need to solve problems involving money if you go into a shop. Make sure that you read the question carefully and think about what it is asking you to do. There may be more than one to solve a problem so think about which may be the most efficient method.
Follow the video and have a go at the questions on the worksheet. If there is something that you don't understand, you can replay it as many times as you like.

Today we will be gathering ideas and planning our story before writing the story tomorrow. We would like you to complete the activities on pages 24-27. Use your imagination and be as creative as you can! It will be easier to get into the flow of writing if you have lots of ideas. Sometimes it may be a bit difficult to get started and you may need to keep coming back to it.
Spelling
The sheet below has sentences where there is a spelling mistake circled. Write the correct spelling in the box and when you have finished check you answers. If you get any wrong, practice writing them out 3 times. See if there any any ways to help you remember them.
Handwriting
Warm up those hands ready for handwriting. Today we will be looking at the 'ify' join. Read the definition on the sheet and then write the 'ify' word. Then write these words in sentences.
Think Positive!
As well as many things changing because of lockdown there are some positives too. Wwhat positive things have come from lockdown for you? Is it that you have learnt a new skill or enjoyed spending more time at home with your family. It is important to celebrate this and have as memory to look back on in years to come. Have a go at filling out the 'Positives from lockdown and you could keep in a safe place to look back on.
Below there are also a number of activities about positive thinking. You can choose to do as many as these as you wish.
