Key Dates for this Term

Here are some of the key dates for this term (subject to change)

School begins the week beginning Monday 7th September. You will have been given a date for your child to start that week.

Harvest Assembly Thursday 22nd October- children only.

 

Half term- school finishes on Thursday 22nd October and children return on Monday 2nd November

PE times

PE days and times are below:

• Green Class indoor PE - Friday

Please make sure your child has the appropriate PE kit, long hair is tied up and earrings are removed on these days. PE kit will be sent home at the end of each half term for washing.

Ways to Support your Child’s Learning at Home

There are three documents that you can download below to support your child with their reading, writing and maths at home:

• Try the Reading Questions Bookmark for ideas to ask before, during and after reading.

• Download the green word list and help your child to read and spell as many as they can over the year.

• Use the Top 10 Maths Tips document for simple, practical ideas to build maths skills.
