What do you think mass is? Why might we need to find out the mass of something. Look at the video below to learn all about measuring mass. Then complete the worksheet and check you answers. If there is something that you are still not sure about, you can always look back over the video.

Today we will be writing animal fact files. There are some examples below for you to get an idea of what a fact file is.
You can either research about an animal of your choice or invent your own animal.
Things to include
- Name (it might also have a different name to the common name that you know
- Countries/continent it can be found in
- Type of habitat
- Type of animal (e.g mammal, reptile fish etc)
- Food
- Appearance ( you may want to draw or insert a picture if you are using a computer)
- Interesting facts
We would like you to write the information you have found in full sentences in paragraphs about each topic of information. Remember not to just copy and paste your research - make sure you understand what you are writing! Always ask an adult before researching on the internet.
You may want to complete more than one; for example, you could pick an area such as the rain forest and complete fact files for a range of different animals.
