Week beginning 23.3.2020
Hello to all parents, carers and children in Reception. I hope you are all keeping well and want you to know you are all in my, Miss McDonagh and Miss Merwanji’s, thoughts. With the school now being closed, you will be doing your learning at home for the time being and in your home learning packs, there are lots of ideas for things for you to do. I am going to take this opportunity to explain what was in the packs and look forward to seeing and hearing all about the learning you have done at home.
Please do some activities every day and bring everything you do to show me when you come back to school again. Photographs would be lovely too.
Don’t forget to do some physical activity every day to keep you fit and healthy. You can do this indoors and outdoors and get your family to join in too. You can join Joe Wickes’ energising 30 minute exercise sessions at 9 a.m. every day
Don’t forget to wash your hands regularly throughout the day. Wash them for 20 seconds and sing “Happy birthday” twice as you do so. Wash the front and back of your hands and in between the fingers too.
You can sing the songs and recite the rhymes you have learnt in school and teach your family them, so you can all sing together. Maybe you can organise a family concert.
Remember to “Stay on green” for your family whilst you are at home.
We are missing you all and look forward to seeing you sometime in the future, when you can tell us about the adventures you had when you did your learning at home.
Take care.
Mrs Bailey, Miss McDonagh and Miss Merwanji
