Dear Parents
Although the school still largely remains closed to most children, we would like to try and bring everyone in the school community together to take part in a virtual sports week (running next week - the week of June 22nd – 26th – alongside National school Sports week).
Each day, there will be a challenge for all children to complete and we will ask you to submit the results through a quick and easy online survey at the end of the week – it should take less than 30 seconds to enter the results.
There will be five challenges for children (and adults) to complete. The challenges are designed to use household objects and minimal space. They will not require any special equipment or a space larger than 2 metres.
Once you have completed the challenges, there will be a link to submit the results. You will need to include your child’s first name and class only. We strongly encourage parents and staff to take part and submit their results as well.
We would also like to ask that you submit any photos you may have taken to reading@godwin.bardaglea.org.uk . The plan will be to use all the photos to create a video that we can all share.
At Godwin, we believe we should all be working together to ensure children are as active as possible, in order to support their physical health and wellbeing.
Please enjoy these activities and have as much fun with them as possible. We would love to see families competing together or perhaps some people completing the challenges in fancy dress.
Thank you in advance for all your help and cooperation.
Yours Faithfully,
Mr Moran
