Year 2's remote learning
Welcome to Year 2's remote learning page! Well done to all of you that have completed work on Purple Mash and our blog over the past few months. During this summer half term, we will deliver remote learning differently.
We will be uploading activities each day onto this web page. Your child can attempt some or all of the activities. Any work that you and your child decide to complete can be uploaded to our Purple Mash blog. Click here for details on how you can access the Purple Mash blog.
The teachers will try to upload the learning by 9:00 on each school day. Click on a link below:
In addition to the activities uploaded in the daily links, the children could attempt the Joe Wicks PE lesson each morning. You and your child can try it each day by clicking https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyCLoPd4VxBvm2BWtQ6AmTsrwjRtx7iIz
Your child could also watch Newsround each day so that they are aware of what is going on in the world. The link is here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround
As reading is such a focus at Godwin, the children could listen to stories read by other teachers around the school and famous TV personalities via CBBC Bedtime Stories. The links are below:

In addition to the above, we would like your child to log into Purple Mash to read each day. We will upload a reading and comprehension task for your child to complete on each school day.
Please support your child to read using these Purple Mash texts as well as physical books that you have at home. If you do not have any physical books at home, search for some on the internet. It is important that your child continues to read at least 5 times per week.
