Today we are learning to describe position on a grid. Watch the video below to learn how to do this before trying the worksheet. You can always come back to the video if there is something you are finding difficult.
People often review books or films to tell other people about the book and what their thoughts are on it. This might help other people decide whether to read the book or watch the film. Not everyone will agree on whether they liked it or not.
We would like you to write a review for a book you have read or film you have watched recently. Write in full sentences and in as much detail as possible. A detailed review might persuade someone!
There is a template below.
Today we will be looking at drafting paragraphs, making sure we take our time to produce neat handwriting. On the sheet there are some bullet points with information. You need to turn those notes into full sentences to make a paragraph. When you have finished you could turn your own notes into a paragraph.
We would like you to have a go at the Japanese art of paper folding. Below are some instructions about how to make a variety of different shapes. Some may be quite tricky but show remember to show determination and keep going!
You may also want to look at video tutorials on YouTube to help you see how to do it. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJME_um5k3Xr47bt4UGRGBg
You could also decorate the paper.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
