We are following the programme 'Read, Write Inc' to teach the children how to read and write. Below is a document with lots of helpful links to help you support your child at home. It is very important that you practise all the sounds taught so far and letter formation. At home it would be lovely for you to read stories and talk about them with your child and when ready it is also important to hear your child read everyday.
The first video explains how 'Read, Write, Inc' works and has some helpful top tips too. The second video is how each sound is pronounced which will help consolidate your child's learning at home. Each day we will learn a new sound. To begin with we will be focusing on knowing our set 1 sounds well before moving on to more sounds. the third video shows you a lesson on how each sound is taught in class.
Thank you for your continued support.
