1C have been learning all about Number bonds to 10.
We have been using different resources to help us make different number bonds - we used Numicon, counters, our fingers and cubes.
We made up our own number bond song to help us remember our number bonds.
0 + 10 a big fat hen
1 + 9 clothes on the line
2 + 8 bake a cake
3 + 7 look up to heaven
4 + 6 pick up the sticks
5 + 5 lets all dive
6 + 4 knock on the door
7 + 3 climb a tree
8 + 2 buckle my shoe

Capacity
1C have been learning all about Capacity. We have been measuring how much different containers can hold. We have learnt all about measuring capacity using the standard measure - litres.
On Friday we went out into the sunshine and had a race to see who could fill up the litre containers the quickest.
