Maths
Today's maths is all about finding and comparing durations of time.
What do you think duration means? (The time during which something happens). How long could a duration be? Think about activities you have done. How long was the duration? How did you know? What was the duration of your sleep last night? Find different durations and make a list - it could be minutes, hours, days or even weeks. Then have a go at the worksheet below.
English
Today in English we would like you to have a go at the following activites from the 'Lockdown Creative Writing' unit.
Science
Pollination is a very important part of the life cycle of plants. It is where insects take pollen between flowering plants to make seeds.
Have a read of the powerpoint below to learn all about the pollination process then have a go at the activity sheet.
As well as pollination there are other processes that are necessary in the life cycle of plants. Learn all about it on the powerpoint below.
We would like you to decide how you present your learning. You could draw a diagram, poster or even some drama to explain the life cycle. Take a picture and share on the purple mash blog :)
Happy learning!
