Today we are looking at 2D shapes. What is a 2D shape? How many can you name? Watch the video below to learn more about 2D shapes before answering the questions on the worksheet.

You will be having a go at writing your troll story today. Using you plans and ideas from yesterday, write and edit your story. You may need to write a few drafts before you are happy with you final story. Look at pages 20 and 21 to help you.
On page 22 there is a guide about how to make it into a book. You could even illustrate your story.

Handwriting
We will be carrying on with learning to join 'b' and 'p' by looking at the joins 'ba', 'bo', 'pa' and 'po'. When you have warmed up, spend some time practicing these joins. What words can you think of that use these joins? Complete the work sheet below by matching the words in the boxes. Finally, use these words, or other words using these joins, to write your own sentences.
