Today is writing day! Yesterday you should have innovated to come up with your ideas. Read through the help on pages 26-28. Write out your poem neatly and you could keep it somewhere safe as a memory or ask an adult to record you performing your poem.
Spelling
The sheet below has sentences where there is a spelling mistake circled. Write the correct spelling in the box and when you have finished check you answers. If you get any wrong, practice writing them out 3 times. See if there any any ways to help you remember them.
Handwriting
As always, make sure you have warmed up your hands and are ready to write. On the sheet below you will need to write the opposite of the word given. Focus carefully on letter formation and the joins. When you have finished, use the words to write your own sentences.
Think Positive!
As well as many things changing because of lockdown there are some positives too. Wwhat positive things have come from lockdown for you? Is it that you have learnt a new skill or enjoyed spending more time at home with your family. It is important to celebrate this and have as memory to look back on in years to come. Have a go at filling out the 'Positives from lockdown and you could keep in a safe place to look back on.
Below there are also a number of activities about positive thinking. You can choose to do as many of these as you wish.
