Maths
Use what you have learnt this week about money and adding and subtracting amounts to work out the change given on the sheet below. When are next in a shop, you could have a go at working out the change given.
Spelling
The sheet below has sentences where there is a spelling mistake circled. Write the correct spelling in the box and when you have finished check you answers. If you get any wrong, practice writing them out 3 times. See if there any any ways to help you remember them.
Handwriting
Today we will be practicing writing new vocabulary. Write each list out in alphabetical order. Focus on forming letters and joins accurately. When you have finished, pick out 3 words you can improve on and write out 3 times. You could then choose some of the words and write sentences or a paragraph.
The Human Body
Today we are learning all about bones. The first thing we would like you to do is read the powerpoint all about different types of skeletons then have a go at sorting the types of skeleton.
Then we will focus on the human body and learn the names of the bones that make up the skeleton. There are actually 206 bones in the body but don't worry we won't be learning all of them!
We would like you to draw or print out the skeleton and label the different bones. How many can you remember. Can you find them on your body?
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
